Yay! I just made my first website. Albeit a pretty hideous one...Not to worry - it will look good once I work out how to do it!
Also, checkout this superhero website - a great source of amusement. I am apparently 85% Wonder Woman and 70% equal Supergirl and the Flash.

Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V
Due to my MySpace page, and a few keyboard shortcuts and some mouse movement, I managed to thoroughly fill out my profile in about 2 minutes - fantastic. Mind you the information is probably grossly out of date. I filled in that profile at the end of 2005...
Conscientiously blogging (AKA procrastination)
I figured I should post a blog seeing I've set this thing up. I have a tendency to set these Web 2.0 things (the new term I acquired from my BBSC 303 class - the impetus behind setting up a blog, but more on that later) and then stop using them - I have a MySpace page too. The last time I blogged on that was just before graduation last year, as a form of procrastination.
I guess to set the scene, I'm a third year architecture student at Victoria University in Wellington. This is actually my 6th year of varsity (yes six), after doing first year design at Vic, then deciding I needed a real student experience and packed my bags, headed down south and became a scarfie, and a knoxie. I completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Film and Media Studies at the University of Otago. I also did papers in Political Science, Design, English and Communication Studies (by force - major requirements). Despite having a ball of a time, and making so many amazing friends, I did manage to get first class honours and then realise that I had to do a real degree - so here I am, back in Wellington, my home town, on the last stretch to end of study. If you can't tell, I can't wait to graduate (again), but actually finish, and then do the OE thing. Yay travel - can't wait.
Basically, this blog is the result of the elective that I am taking this semester, BBSC 303 Digital Craft. As part of a diary we have to keep of the process we undertake as part of this course, we have to keep a blog. That suits me fine as I type a lot faster than the pace I write at (I write pretty fast and usually neatly too).
So I guess procrastination, a la this blog, is now considered homework. It reminds me of when I did film, and watching films was homework...
